Beaverton School District:So who's going to make these cuts? Every year, a collection of community members and school board members volunteer their time to follow the budget and recommend changes. They are one of the few groups in education with a simple name - the Beaverton Budget Committee.

Carrie Anderson, master of industrial engineering, worked as a consultant for Accenture and an inventory manager for Nike, which is currently a stay-at-home mom. Two children, primary and secondary school.

Brett Baker, MBA, working for Wells Fargo Bank. Has experience with institutional commodity brokerage and commercial banking. Three children, primary and secondary school.

Dave Bouchard, a retired electrical engineer and general manager of Forest Grove Power and Light. Has two grown children and several grandchildren.
John Burns, degrees in architecture and engineering, owner and Chief Commercial Officer, Colocation light points.
